Eaton UPS was established in Nuremberg, Germany with a straightforward mission: manufacture UPS systems that meet the most stringent international standards from the moment they leave the factory.

Today, with 520 employees across two manufacturing sites and distribution partners in 48 countries, we serve procurement teams and specifying engineers who require complete, audit-ready certification documentation as part of every purchase order.

Our Quality Management System is ISO 9001 certified. Our environmental management processes meet ISO 14001. Every batch of products is accompanied by a full compliance document package — CE Declaration of Conformity, UL listing certificate, and material safety data in RoHS format.

2005

Company Founded

Established in Nuremberg, Germany. First product line: single-phase online UPS systems rated 1–20 kVA.

2007

ISO 9001 Certification

Quality Management System certified by TUV SUD, covering all design and manufacturing processes.

2010

Three Phase UPS Launch

Extended product range to include three-phase industrial UPS systems up to 800 kVA. Obtained UL 1778 listing for North American market.

2014

Second Manufacturing Site

Opened Shenzhen production facility. Achieved CCC certification for Chinese mainland market access.

2018

ISO 14001 & Modular UPS

Environmental management certification achieved. Launched modular UPS platform with hot-swappable power modules.

2022

500,000th Unit Shipped

Passed half-million unit milestone. Distribution network expanded to 48 countries across six continents.

2025

Next-Generation Platform

Introduced high-efficiency online UPS with > 97% eco-mode efficiency and native Modbus TCP / SNMP connectivity.

Our R&D and applications engineering teams include licensed professional engineers with deep expertise in power electronics, battery chemistry, and international compliance standards.

We reinvest over 7% of annual revenue into R&D, focusing on active PFC topologies, lithium-ion battery integration, and SCADA-ready communication modules. Every product revision cycle is informed by field performance data spanning millions of device-hours.
